Description

The Mansfield House Hotel under the new ownership if Lynn and Stephen Murray , who have the sister Hotel, The Elm House Hotel, in the town center of Hawick . We offer luxury en-suite accommodation, fine food, weddings, functions, event management, we cater for bus parties and much more. In approximately ten acres of established grounds on the outskirts of Hawick, the largest of the Scottish Border towns famous for the Common Riding, rugby and knitwear. The original house, which was built in the 1800's as a private residence, has been modernized to create a stylish and comfortable hotel. Food is prepared by our Chef and his team providing an ever-changing mix of traditional and modern using the best local suppliers. Our Hotel is dog friendly and you can take your dog a walk in the Hotels lovely grounds. You can enjoy a snack, an evening meal, a coffee or just enjoy a drink in our lovely cosy bar. You can also enjoy you evening meal in our dining room, with great service. A 4 Star Hotel with Five Star service . **Please note that our Amarone Thistle Restaurant is closed on Sunday's, However soup, sandwiches and other light snacks are available on request**

  • Road from South/A7 Langholm (24.0 miles)
    Follow the A7 from Langholm to Hawick. At the Hawick Sandbed roundabout take the first exit to continue on the A7. At the Hawick North Bridge roundabout, take the third exit onto A698/North Bridge Street then at the next roundabout take the second exit onto A698/Weensland Road and continue to follow A698 for about 0.5m/1km. The hotel is on the right by the sign.
  • Road from North/A7 Selkirk (11.0 miles)
    Follow the A7 from Selkirk to Hawick. At the Hawick North Bridge roundabout, take the second exit onto A698/North Bridge Street then at the next roundabout take the second exit onto A698/Weensland Road and continue to follow A698 for about 0.5m/1km. The hotel is on the right by the sign.
  • Road from Kelso (north east of Hawick), A698 (20.0 miles)
    Follow the A698 from Kelso to Hawick. A small part of this road, approximately 1m/1km, is the A68 which rejoins the A698. When entering Hawick shortly after Daykins Drive on the left the hotel is on the left by the sign.
  • Road from Jedburgh (north east of Hawick), A7 (11.0 miles)
    Follow the B6358 from Jedburgh for approximately 4m/6km. At the end of the road turn left onto the A698. When entering Hawick shortly after Daykins Drive on the left the hotel is on the left by the sign.
