  • Road from Kyle of Lochalsh/ Mallaig (30.0 miles)

Once over the Skye bridge it is signposted with Armadale Castle and Gardens which are easily reached by following the A87 for approximately 7 miles and turn left to the A851. This road takes you  into Sleat  and is approximately 17 miles to our site. As you pass Armadale Castle & Gardens main entrance and carpark, continue along and the sign for the lodges are posted on the next right and follow this road to the lodges.

If you arrive by the ferry services operating between Mallaig and Armadale, follow the road and once you pass shop/ filling station and car garage it is the next left hand turn to the lodges.

We are approximately 35 minute drive from the Skye bridge and only a few minutes drive from the Mallaig to Armadale ferry.

  • Train from Kyle of Lochalsh/ Mallaig (30.0 miles)
If travelling by train, services operate from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh, or from Glasgow via Fort William to Mallaig. Local bus and ferry services connect with most trains allowing the traveller to reach Armadale. The lodges and suites are a short walk from the ferry terminal at Armadale. We advise it is always best to contact Calmac for any ferry inquiries and Stagecoach for local bus times.
