Ardvonie House Information

Description

This lovely garden flat is private accommodation for guests who are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the Highlands. With views of the Cairngorms and every convenience within walking distance, this is a perfect spot for families, artists, outdoor enthusiasts, climbers and wild swimmers. There is a kitchen for those who wish to cook hearty meals, and great places to eat within a few minutes' walk, for nights off duty. Comfort and customer service are our focus, while providing you with your own private space. Come and enjoy the fabulous views and calming atmosphere at Ardvonie House, Kingussie. There is private parking and an EV charging point just at the bottom of the park (2 minutes walk away). We have a 13ft trampoline, and swing in the garden for guests to enjoy (at their own risk), with garden chairs and tables for relaxing outdoor dining.

We have always dreamed of living in the Cairngorm National Park and the this dream was finally realised in December 2021 when all of the family were together again for our first Christmas in Scotland. Kingussie is our dream home with all of our passions within walking distance. The River Spey provides a good swimming spot, where we can sometimes swim upstream only to find that we have not travelled anywhere, or we can us the canoe or paddleboard to take a day trip down to Loch Insch. From Ardvonie House there are plentiful walks. There are short walks along the river, and longer ones up the hills behind the house. As well as swimming and walking, there are good cycle tracks along the Speyside way, where you can drink in the beautiful scenery, and plentiful mountain bike tracks in the surrounding hills and woodland.
