The Yurts at Burnt House Farm Information

Description

Set in safe surroundings for children to play and explore, we are surrounded by nature, enabling a peaceful and pleasant break for all. Placed near the centre of the Island we are in easy reach to sandy beaches and all the Island has to offer. There is space for children including a trampoline in the wild meadow, badminton net and a small wooden play house in the large yurt field. With good space between each yurt there is plenty of room to enjoy your own BBQ and picnic table. There is even good old fashioned swing ball at each yurt. Why not hire all 3 yurts for a special family occasion or holiday and have the whole site to yourselves! Be surprised at the facilities and spaciousness. With electricity in each yurt, a kitchenette, separate en-suite with a shower, toilet and basin. This makes our facilities unique, convenient and private. A real luxury feature. Inside are comfortable beds, a drop leaf table and chairs, log burner and oil filled radiators. We will provide you with all you need for your first fire. The yurts are fully lined and insulated. We provide all bedding (13.5 tog) and kitchen equipment. Bed guards and high chairs for the smallest visitors, please advise us when booking. Each yurt can accommodate a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children with 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed with pull out trundle below and a small single guest bed. We will also accommodate up to 4 adults with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Please note the living space is open plan. We are near an area of outstanding natural beauty, and you can regularly see pheasants, bats, red squirrels, and birds from the yurt. We have a visiting owl and lots of nesting birds such as swallows. WE HAVE A LOW NOISE POLICY for the comfort of all our guests. Wi-Fi is not provided and mobile signal unreliable however we have had guests successfully use mobile Wi-Fi units when staying with us from certain providers.

The Yurts at Burnt House Farm

We are a small family site who took ownership of the yurts in Jan 2021. Our family has talked for many years about running a business like this for years and in 2021 our dream came true.
