Description

On the beach at Totland Bay – a unique living experience. A stay at Pilots Point, due to it's location, close to the waters edge, is often likened to being onboard an ocean cruise liner. The accommodation :- Bedroom No.1. King size bed. Bedroom No.2. Family room, Double bed and a set of bunk beds bedroom No.3 Twin bedded room. Two bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, sunroom used as a dining room and additional sitting room. This charming apartment has its own private outdoor sun terrace with bbq area, with spectacular views over the sea. The sun terrace is shielded from the wind by a wall of arched glass panels. In addition to the sun terrace, the apartment has its own private balcony overlooking the sea. For those visitors wishing to take a break from cooking, one of the Island’s most popular bar/restaurants - The Waterfront - is situated at the bottom of the garden and open all day. There are 23 easy steps leading from the promenade to the apartment. Totland is a small picturesque village connected to the larger village of Freshwater which has most (if not all) of the amenities you will require during your stay. Pilots Point is 5 minutes drive from the Needles Pleasure Park and 10 minutes drive from the historic town of Yarmouth. The west of the Island is blessed with beautiful countryside and coastlines. The Island is host to many activities and attractions including: The Needles Pleasure Park The Dimbola Museum and Galleries Freshwater Bay Golf Club Hill Farm riding stables Tapnell Farm Family Attraction Blackgang Chine Carisbrooke Castle Cowes Yacht Haven Robin Hill Country Park Osbourne House This area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, spectacular local footpaths/bridle paths can take you to Headon Warren, the Tennyson Trail, Colwell Bay, Yarmouth and more. Alfred Lord Tennyson lived at The Farringford, located at the foot of the Tennyson trail.

Our connections on the Isle of Wight go back many years and we are very passionate about Totland Bay. It took 5 years to upgrade the property to its current high standard which we are very proud of and we believe these three apartments to be some of the best on the Island Your experience at Pilots Point is very important to us and we will strive to make your stay a relaxing one.

Directions

  • Road from Lymington/Yarmouth Ferry (5.0 miles)
    From the ferry take the A3054 and stay on it until Totland. When reaching Totland there is Totland's 1st roundabout. Go straight over this roundabout and keep on the road for approximately one mile until you reach Totland's 2nd roundabout. At this roundabout take the 3rd exit to Totland Beach. At the beach turn sharp left along the Promenade. There are only 3 properties on the beach. The 1st being Beach House, the 2nd Pilots Point and the 3rd the Waterfront Restaurant
  • Road from Southampton/East cowes (18.0 miles)
    From the ferry head to Newport then take the A3054 and stay on it until Totland. When reaching Totland there is Totland's 1st roundabout. Go straight over and keep on the road for approximately one mile until you reach Totland's 2nd roundabout. At this roundabout take the 3rd exit to Totland Beach. At the beach turn sharp left along the Promenade. There are only 3 properties on the beach. The 1st being Beach House, the 2nd Pilots Point and the 3rd the Waterfront Restaurant

    From the ferry head to Newport then take the A3054 and stay on it until Totland. When reaching Totland there is Totland's 1st roundabout.
