Bed & Breakfast Kent & Sussex Welcome to our delightful 5 star country home offering bed and breakfast with a touch of luxury to visitors wishing to enjoy the beautiful Kent & Sussex countryside. Beacon Hall House is set in 7 acres of mature elevated gardens and paddocks with splendid views over beautiful Wealden countryside into East Sussex. Enjoy a swim in our outdoor heated pool seasonal (May-Sept), a game of tennis or stroll through the garden at your leisure. There are miles of footpath and bridleway walks to be enjoyed just a stone's throw from the house. We are situated 1 mile from the delightful Kentish village of Benenden which has a beautiful village green with 15th century church and cricket pitch where you can watch local matches most summer weekends. There is a lovely village shop stocked with essentials and delicacies and a superb local wildlife artist. There is also a renowned excellent locally farmed family butchers Ward & Sons. Benenden has two very good pubs, The Bull Inn and the tucked away Woodcock Inn – both of these are highly recommended for drinks and dinner. There are many local restaurants of varying tastes within a 10 mile radius. more information available on request. If your preference is to dine in then relaxed evening suppers are available by prior booking, we can also cater should you wish to host a family or friends dinner party or special event. For days out we are blessed with numerous options from the gardens of Great Dixter, Pashley Manor, Sissinghurst Castle & Leeds Castle to numerous National Trust locations and an abundance of vineyards including Gusbourne, Chapel Down, Hush Heath, Seddlescombe Organic to name but a few. For golfers there are many local courses including Chart Hills just 4 miles away and horse riding available in Hemsted Forrest. Just 20/25 mins away is Rye Citadel and the beaches of Camber or Winchelsea.
