Coastal Escape Information

Description

The property was constructed in 2008 within the Middle Street Conservation area of Deal in Kent. The architectural and historic importance of the Middle Street Deal Conservation area has long been recognised with Its distinctive character typified by the central axis of mainly Georgian terraced houses clustered around Middle Street; changing as you move towards Deal Castle. The property boasts charm and was built using traditional methods combined with modern building regulation requirements. Fitted with double glazed wooden sash windows, cast iron guttering and set in a cosy plot with courtyard garden. A compact cottage with two bedrooms, bathroom lounge, kitchen and separate WC. Outside is a small courtyard and parking space. Situated up a lane off of South Street. Off road parking is located at the side of the cottage and suitable for a medium sized car. This parking space is available free of charge but is a tight space to get into and may need several manoeuvres to master. We find it easier to reverse into the space from the entrance of the lane. A Visitors parking permit is also provided allowing guests to park in the local Councils designated Zone H Town centre parking areas if they find the on site parking a problem. Zone H parking area details can be found on the Dover Council website. Once parked you will not require the car again to access the beach, town or restaurants, bars, coffee shops and antique dealers. They are all within strolling distance, through the lane into the town, up the lane to the seafront and pier. Entrance into hallway, WC and stairs Door into kitchen, small but well equipped to cook a light supper or a roast with all the trimmings. Door leading into the lounge. Comfortable and cozy. Double doors leading to the courtyard, side gate onto drive and to the front of the cottage. Top of the stairs is the bathroom with bath and shower within the bath.
