Number One St Luke's Information


Quietly located in Blackpool’s South Shore, Number One St Lukes is the perfect place for a hassle-free stay in this bustling seaside resort. The house itself is a handsome, detached, period home standing in its own large gardens complete with hot tub, putting green and ample private parking. The rooms are all thoughtfully, elegantly and individually appointed and each includes a king-sized bed, one being a four poster, with Egyptian cotton bedlinen and Siberian goosedown pillows, min 47" flat screen TV, DVD, CD, Sony Playstation 2, free Wi-Fi, remote controlled lighting system, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and refreshment tray. All rooms have a full bathroom ensuite with a Whirlpool bath, SplashTV, power shower and music system. Ideally suited to business travellers weary of impersonal hotel rooms or couples seeking a romantic break in friendly surroundings. The Promenade, Sandcastle Waterpark and Blackpool's famous Pleasure Beach is a 5 minute walk away or take a short tram ride to Blackpool Tower, Madame Tussaud's, Sealife Centre and all the other attractions and entertainment that Blackpool has to offer. If you want to venture further afield then within a 50 minute drive you have Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District or if golf is your thing then we have 8 courses within a 6 mile radius so the choice is yours and the combination of sea, sand and the forces of nature offer an irresistible challenge! Don't forget we are also extremely well located for the 3 Royals - Royal Lytham & St Annes, Royal Liverpool and Royal Birkdale for the ultimate golf experience. Here at Number One, St Luke’s we realise we have a moral and legal responsibility to our customers with disabilities and specific needs but, unfortunately, we are unable to provide a ground floor room or lift due to the restraints of the property. All guestrooms are on the first floor however, the staircase is easy to use as the stairs are quite wide and low and it's only a couple of metres from the top to each guestroom. Please see "stairs and landing" images. The guestrooms and communal areas are all spacious and easy to navigate.


  • Train from Blackpool Pleasure Beach Station (0.3 miles)
    Walk up and over the railway bridge and at the bottom continue forward taking the next left being Roseberry Avenue. Continue up the full length of the road and at the top turn right. Cross over the main Lytham Road and Number One St Luke's is on the next left being situate on the corner of St Luke's Road and Lytham Road. Turn into St Luke's and the gate is immediately on your left. The whole walk will take about 4 mins.
  • Road from M55 (3.0 miles)
    Continue to end of M55, roundabout with the sculpture on top, and turn left following signs to Blackpool Airport. At traffic lights just outside the airport turn right on to Lytham Road. Follow road to traffic lights and go straight across then St Luke’s Road is the 3rd on the right. Number One is immediately on your left so turn left again into our own parking area. It is a square, detached house with a flat roof and hedge all around the garden.
  • Air from Blackpool Airport (1.0 miles)
    At traffic lights immediately outside Blackpool Airport go straight across on to Lytham Road. Follow the road to the traffic lights and again continue straight ahead. St Luke’s Road is then the 3rd on the right with Number One being immediately on your left so turn left again into our own parking area. It is a square, detached house with a flat roof and hedge all round the garden.
  • Train from Blackpool North Station (3.5 miles)
    It's easiest to just grab a taxi from immediately outside of the station and it'll cost about £8.
  • Train from Blackpool South Station (1.0 miles)
    Either grab a taxi at the top of the hill and it'll take less than a minute and cost about £2/£3. Alternatively, at the top of the hill turn left to the roundabout and then turn left again on to Lytham Road heading South. Follow the road, up and over the bridge, through the traffic lights and then St Lukes Road is the 3rd on the left with Number One being immediately on your left - a square, detached house with hedge all around the garden. It'll probably take about 15 mins.
