Description

Set in the beautiful North Norfolk country side, this former coaching inn is well known for its great food, warm welcome and traditional rooms with en-suites. Our rooms are decorated in National Trust heritage colours with white accessories, three of the rooms have original four poster beds, all rooms are made up with fine linen, have smart TVs and complementary tea, coffee, biscuits and toiletries. The Buckinghamshire Arms or The Bucks as it is known locally is ideally situated for visiting the North Norfolk Coast which is 30 minutes away, and also the historic City of Norwich with its Norman Castle and Cathedral is only 15 minutes away, the Norfolk Broads National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty is also 15 minutes away and of course Blickling Hall, one of East Anglia's finest National Trust properties is on our door step. There is a friendly snug bar with well kept real ales, lagers an extensive wine list. We have two different dining areas as well as a large well kept garden and courtyard area for those long summer days and nights and blazing wood burners for wintery nights. The Buckingham shire Arms has been run since 2013 by the Colchester Inns Team which was established in 1989. The Team are proud of their reputation for great food which is prepared using quality produce, sourced locally wherever possible and used in season for the finest results. Across the whole operation the Team looks to offer a superior product at a fair price, our aim, has and will always be to offer good service and value for money. We are dog friendly and situated in 4600 acres of woodland, parkland and farmyard there are many amazing walks,many circular, ranging in length and difficulty. Cycle hire is available at the Hall next door. Fishing is also available in the lake from June to March. Aylsham, a historic market town is just a mile away,it has shops, restaurants and its very own narrow guage steam train which transports you to the Broads.

Run by the Colchester Inns Team. Established in 1989 the team have worked together in other sites and are loving the opportunity to run such a unique pub in the most amazing setting. Where going to work is truely a pleasure.
