Arkleside Guesthouse Information


Set in a quiet courtyard, just yards from Reeth village green, The Arkleside offers stunning views of the Arkle Beck as it meanders down to meet the river Swale. Arkleside Guesthouse has the ideal setting in a quiet location without being too far from village amenities. Arkleside is ideally located for touring the Dales and visiting the historic town of Richmond, along with the market towns of Leyburn, Hawes and Barnard Castle. With views of Fremington Edge and beyond The Arkleside makes the perfect setting for a short break. With our cosy and comfortable rooms you can be sure of a relaxing stay with breathtaking views. The Village of Reeth is a popular centre for walkers and cyclists and being set mid way along the popular Coast to Coast walk, as well as the Herriot and Inn way it's easy to see why. From its elavated position the spacious triangular village green provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside. All of our rates are on a room only basis to give customers the flexibility and choice as to whether to have breakfast rather than it be compulsory. Breakfast is available daily and our new socially distanced time slots are 8.30am and 9.30am. Should you wish to reserve a specific time slot in advance please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. £12.00 payable in Cash. Payment Information Update: Arkleside preferred methods of payment are Cash, Cheque, Debit Card or Internet Banking prior to arrival. Check in is 4pm till 6pm - Check out is 8.30am till 10.30am

We have two rooms which are on the ground floor. One has a small step up to get into the shower tray. The other has a small step up to get into the front door and the bathroom has a step up into the shower. Our breakfast room and guest lounge is in the main house and is accessed by five steps.
