Fenham Farm Bed and Breakfast Information
Description
Fenham Farm is located on the coast, overlooking Holy Island in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For the birdwatcher and lover of nature, this area provides a unique opportunity to see and get close to some of the country’s rarest animals. In the autumn months, the sand flats that are exposed at low tide become a huge feeding ground for geese and waders from around the world. Please note that the Bed & Breakfast accommodation is closed from 29th October 2018 until 7th April 2019. Converting the smiddy, cow byre, cartshed and granary at Fenham has created 7 spacious en-suite rooms that are independent of the farmhouse and have individual front doors so your space is your own. You will enjoy modern comfort all round and will be kept warm and cosy by underfloor heating, even on the chilliest of days. All the units are decorated to an extremely high standard and boast feather down duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. There is a large lounge with a spectacular view over to Holy Island. Breakfasts are cooked to order using local products wherever possible and fresh eggs from our own hens and are served in the new Granary building. Evening meals are available at many local public houses and restaurants. Children over 5 are welcome. Northumberland is a land of contrasts, from the sandy beaches and rugged cliffs of the coast to the high wilderness of the Cheviot Hills, it is truly a region with something for everyone.
