Enjoy a warm farmhouse welcome in this skilfully converted late 18th Century Granary and Stable block which is attached to the farmhouse. Carr Edge is a working Beef & Sheep farm nestling in 700 acres of pastures and woodlands. Situated in the historic area of the Hadrian's Wall corridor and 1½ miles out of the village of Newbrough, Carr Edge is set in an idyllic location. This traditional farmhouse is overlooking the South Tyne Valley, commanding spectacular views of the North Pennines and surrounding National Park areas. All 3 guest rooms are en-suite and centrally heated, boasting south facing breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the garden area. The rooms are traditionally furnished and all have Tea and Coffee facilities, Colour televisions, hair dryers.

Ground floor Room.The Downstairs bedroom is carpeted but the wet room has tiled flooring. The en-suite wet room is equipped with grab rails to enhance safety in the room and non slip floor mat for the shower area and bath mats as required . The mirror has been extended down to the Washbasin and the Pull cord for the overhead mirror light has also been extended. The king size bed is at a height of 58cm There is a small sofa in the room and a winged armchair. Most of the furniture is moveable to suit individual needs. There is flat access out to the Garden Area and the Car Park directly from the South Door. The ground floor room is situated directly next to the breakfast room with flat access.

  • Road from A69 - Hexham (7.5 miles)
    Leaving the A69 approximately 2 miles west of Hexham right hand turning (near end of the dualcarriageway) signposted B6319 Fourstones and Newbrough. Stay on this road, over the River Tyne. Follow the road bears around to the left. Continue on main road through Fourstones. Continue straight into the village of Newbrough. Locate and turn right up side of the Red Lion. Proceed up this road for 1 ½ miles Take the right hand fork over the cattle grid. Please keep right when entering the farm drive
