Cherry Tree Cottage Information

Description

Cherry Tree Cottage, located on the edge of the Cotswolds in West Oxfordshire; in the small and peaceful village of Salford, just two miles from the historic market town of Chipping Norton. Our newly converted, one-bedroom, detached property with a private garden and desired patio area is placed in a delicate setting; just opposite the cottage there is the dated yet renovated public house The Black Horse, the perfect country pub which serves delicious home cooked food for lunch and dinner. With the adjacent fields equipped to be explored by you. If you love walking this is the perfect location for you with Salford being a great place to start with five intersecting walks. Cherry Tree Cottage is the ideal place for a perfect getaway: for a wedding anniversary or simply just a wholeheartedly treat for a well-deserved loved one. The historic market town of Chipping Norton is 2 miles from Salford, where you can easily visit the highest town in Oxfordshire. In town, there are many antique and boutique shops to stopover at as well as convenience stores; conjunctively, there are also a small array of different restaurants to eat in or grab a takeaway from, not to mention the assortment of pubs in Chipping Norton.

My parents, Ray and Cynthia are a very active retired couple, together for 60 years. Ray and Cynthia both take up useful hobbies and pursue their interests in their day to day lifes. Ray was a self-employed builder for 60 years when he retired Cherry Tree Cottage became a self-build project, which began in 2014. Cynthia in the meantime is very fond of gardening and takes up an interest in interior design, she has used her thorough eyes to design the cottage. Together they are both highly committed to providing great stays for long/short term guests. There are many things to do and see during a unique stay with them. Consisting of: walking, using the popular walks through the adjacent fields, visiting the Rollright Stones down the road, going to Stratford upon Avon just 21 miles away, delve further into the Cotswolds and visit neighbouring villages or visiting the famous city of Oxford 22 miles away. Also just a short car journey away you have Soho Farmhouse, Daylesford Farm and Diddly Squat Farm.

Cherry Tree Cottage has been welcoming guests since October 2018
