Thyme and Beyond Hotel Information

Description

If a cosy fireplace in winter, a sunny pool in summer, crisp linen and freshly ground coffee are some of the simple things that you hope to find in the quiet, lush green Pembrokeshire haven of Pleasant Valley, then you have come to the right place. Stepaside is only a 30-minute drive to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which boasting a coastline so magnificent, has been recognised by National Geographic as second only to that of New Zealand. It has also been included in Conde Naste’s list of Top Five National Parks on the planet. JUST BEYOND US Take a Scenic 1 Mile Walk to Wiseman’s Beach Enjoy the Pembrokeshire fresh air by taking a scenic walk along a shaded wooded path and gentle stream. This one-mile meander will take you to the seaside hamlet of Wiseman’s Bridge with its strikingly-rugged rocky beach, once a practice zone for D-Day landings. Walk to Saundersfoot There’s a 2.5 mile wooded coastal path that begins in Stepaside and passes through Wiseman’s Bridge that is popular with both walkers and cyclists. Nature lovers are always impressed by Saundersfoot’s Coppet Hall Beach, which not only boasts Blue Flag status, but has been declared a conservation area by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Park. Visitors love the combination of Stepasides’s tranquillity and the buzz of this little harbour town that is famous for its St Nicholas Christmas Fair, New Year’s Day swim and many appealing shops and restaurants. Visit the Buzz and History of Tenby A trip to Pembrokeshire isn’t complete without a visit to the quaint yet bustling harbor town of Tenby which is only 6.5 miles from Stepaside. There are plenty of shops to explore and restaurants to try out. Continue for another 10 miles and you’ll be able to explore the ancient Picton and Pembroke castles. With many wonderful walks & cycling opportunities along the coastline on our doorstep there is plenty to do if relaxing on the beach, soaking up the sunshine or paddleboarding is not an option.

DOING SIMPLE. JUST PERFECTLY. The warm hospitality of Marco and Lyall is outdone only by the magnificent Pembrokeshire coastline famous for attracting walkers, cyclists, stargazers and marine life explorers from all around the world. Relax at the pool or in the courtyard enjoying the peace and tranquility of the valley or explore the beautiful coastline on one of the many walks in the area. Marco and Lyall are not only passionate about ensuring that even the ordinary becomes extraordinary when it comes to everything that they do and they are looking forward to bringing their love for cooking and catering to Stepaside. Locals and visitors can look forward to being served a fresh coffee, tea or a Gin and Tonic at sundown from the bar and weekend supper clubs and sumptuous Sunday brunches will all be on the menu. Marco, being Italian, makes fresh pasta and sauces on the property for guests and locals to order and enjoy. With their South African backgrounds they enjoy the outdoors and sunshine Pembrokeshire has to offer and look forward to being able to share their love of the area with their guests.
