The Crown Inn dates back to 1739, and has its share of friendly ghosts - two in fact, who can be occasionally be seen stood at the bar, and who can blame them? At the bar, we serve up to seven real ales at the time - along with the Everards habitual favourites, Tiger, Original, Beacon and Sunchaser, there are a host of guest beers and ciders available at any one given time, as well as a wide range of spirits and fine wines. Having been awarded the status of Rutland CAMRA Branch Pub of the Year not just in 2011, but in 2014, we know our beer well, and our friendly bar staff will look to provide you a comfortable, easy-going experience in classic surroundings.
We also look to provide locally sourced homemade food - our Full English Breakfast is available to all from 10am, and for residents at whatever time they should require. We serve our regular menu from 11am to late, cooked to order whenever you should desire it. Please see our Menu for more information.
Our rooms are designed to give you a pleasant stay in comforting surroundings - rustic and elegant, you will be assured to have a great night's sleep and a good morning as well. With our list of amenities, you should find everything you might happen to need at the Crown Inn.
The Crown regularly shows sporting events on television, from racing to rugby, and regularly hosts live music nights. Whether you're looking for a decent night's sleep, a place to hear great music, a tasty meal or just a fantastic pint of real ale, the Crown Inn can provide you with exactly what you need. Find us on High Street East, Uppingham.
