Description

On the ground floor there is a toilet and storage space for you to store your bags and coats. The first floor is for those who like their bedrooms bright and airy. It is has high ceilings and looks out onto the Parkland and courtyard. It has a king-size bed with and lovely comfortable mattress to relax into, a dressing table, chest of drawers and hooks for your clothes. The second floor is an Eaves room affectionately called the Marshmallow room as it has a marshmallow king size bed, the oversized headboard and deeply textured soft boucle fabric give this bed a soft, comfortable, and luxurious look with a squidgy feel. Also on the second floor you will find the bathroom which is contemporary and clean with a long bath that is lovely to soak in and strong power shower. On the Third floor you will find the Kitchen which has amazing views all over the park and over the roofs with fitted original 50’s dining banquette creating a snug retro feel. Kitchen is fully equipped! Alessi plisse kettle and toaster and nutribullet for juicing or soups. Plenty of cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils as well as dishwasher, oven, gas stove and fridge/freezer. The fourth floor has a writing desk overlooking all the beautiful parkland, and then swish through the beaded curtain to the vinyl room, or as, some call it, the cocktail room. A wonderfully cosy and quirky, cool space dedicated to nostalgic conversations, listening to some retro or contemporary music and chilling. Gaze out of the beautiful oculus window at the trees or just sink into the vibe - warning you may never want to leave! At the Top floor you’ll find a beautiful spacious light filled room with windows on each side of the room overlooking all of Bath and beyond. Relax on the Hay Mags sofa swathed with beautiful unique textiles by local weaver and artisan Katherine Fraser to cuddle up on.

Directions

  • Bus from Bus station (1.2 miles)
    From the bus station take the bus 4Bathcity Odd Down, 5 minute drive, then you need to get out on the sixth  stop Hatfield Road and from then yo walk back and take the first turn on the left to Englishcombe Lane to The Moorlands, 10 minute walk.
  • Road from Taxi (1.2 miles)
    You can take the V-taxi or Uber from the bus station or train station directly to the house. Cost is between £7 - 10.5 depending on the time of the day and size of the car.
