Yew Tree House

This large room is in the old part of the house and is full of character with the original beams in the ceiling and indents in the wall where the oil lamps used to go. The room looks out onto the front garden. The room has a king size double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, chest of draws bed side tables and a sofa. The room also has central heating, television, wifi and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite has 1.2m wide shower, basin and loo. There is also a roll out single bed suitable for children aged 14 and under and there is room for a cot if required.

The en-suite double room is on the first floor in the Edwardian part of the main house. The room is reached via the main stairs then 3 more steps , the breakfast room is at the bottom of the stairs on the left. The room has two windows that look out onto the back garden and is decorated in pink and grey. The room has a black iron bedstead with a pocket sprung mattress. It is central heated and has a pine wardrobe, chest of draws and wall mounted dressing table, there is also a stool, comfy chair, 2 bed side tables and a Freeview TV. We provide sheets, towels, bedding, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a door through to the en-suite shower room which has 1.2m shower, basin and loo and hot water is available at all times. .

This room is one of our 3 garden rooms in the converted stables they have a patio with a table and chairs outside.The rooms are in easy reach of our rear car park and the breakfast room which is in the house. All the garden rooms have french windows opening out onto the patio, with interior shutters which provide privacy and insulation. This room can be set up as a super king size double or a twin room, there are two 'And so to Bed' single beds that can be locked and zipped together to make a super king size double bed. The room is central heated and furnished with a dressing table and stool, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, comfy chair, chest of draws and Freeview television. We provide sheets, towels, bedding and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a door through to the en-suite shower room which has 1.2m shower, basin and loo with grab rails by the loo and shower, hot water is available at all times. When you open the door to this First Floor King Size Double Room / Family Suite you walk into a small hallway with 3 doors, the door to the left leads into the large double room, the door straight ahead of you opens into the small twin room and the door to the right opens into the en-suite bathroom. The suite can be booked for 1, 2, 3 or 4 guests. If you book for 1 or 2 guests the suite will be set up as a King Size Double Room with en-suite bathroom. You can book the suite for 2 guests using both rooms but you will have to contact us directly to do this there is a small additional charge. The double room is in the 17th century part of the house and has windows looking out over the front garden and side of the house, it is decorated in red and cream and has the original black beams. The room has pine furniture a king size double bed, dressing table and stool, chest of draws, 2 bedside tables and small table. There is a large built in wardrobe, comfy chair, window seat, television and tea and coffee making facilities. The twin room is decorated in cream, the linen has a rose print. The room has 2 full sized single beds, chest of draws, small hanging rail and 2 bedside tables. The bathroom is decorated in white, grey and black, it has a full size bath with taps and shower head, a separate shower, hand basin, toilet, fresh towels and complementary toiletries. All the rooms have radiators..

The en-suite twin room is on the first floor in the Edwardian part of the house. The room is spacious and goes across the house it has windows that look out onto the front car park and back garden. There are two full size single beds with dark blue/green floral linen separated by a 1930's burr walnut wardrobe. Each bed has a bed side table and lamp. There is also a burr walnut dressing table and stool and chest with cupboard and draws, plus a comfy chair. The room is central heated and has access to wifi, a television, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite has a large 1.2m wide shower,basin and loo. Breakfast is served in the ground floor breakfast room.

The double room is decorated in purple and cream, it has a green coloured iron framed king size bed, dressing table and stool, chest of draws, 2 bedside tables, television and a small chair. The twin room is decorated in red white and blue with a seaside theme, it has 2 full size single beds, a dressing table, 2 bedside tables and clothes hooks. The three beds have pocket sprung mattresses. The en-suite has has 1.2m shower, basin and loo, grab rails by the loo and shower and hot water is available at all times. The rooms are heated, there are tea and coffee making facilities, WIFI and towels and sheets are provided. On the patio outside the room there is a table and 4 chairs. This room is suitable for most guests as it is on the ground floor, the en-suite is not suitable for wheelchairs. The room is in easy reach of our rear car park and the breakfast room which is in the main house.
