Rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard, they have original interior features and window seats. All bed linen is Egyptian cotton with feather down duvets and pillows. Non allergen bed linen available on request. All are en-suite with modern showers and underfloor heating. Also provided are toiletries, hairdryers and towels. Ironing facilities are available upon request. A Freeview television/DVD player, a generous hospitality tray with a selection of teas, coffees, chocolate drinks, bottled water and cookies are all included to enhance your visit. Wi-fi available. Local newspapers & magazines are provided, together with information on nearby attractions and local places of interest.

Description

You are assured of a friendly welcome at Calendar Cottage, an old hamstone cottage dating back to the early 17th century with its own unique period character and an extensive, well maintained garden. Situated in a peaceful countryside village, you have many options for visiting museums, gardens, impressive country houses, antique/craft shops and unique English country villages. We are tucked away amidst the rolling hills of the South Somerset Dorset borders, just over a mile from the historic Georgian market town of Crewkerne, and only a short drive from the Jurassic Coast and some of the best beaches in the South. The railway station has regular services to London - Waterloo (journey time 2.5hours) Exeter and Plymouth. Transport to or from the station can be arranged, as can reservations at local restaurants and public houses, if required.
