Description

St Anne’s is a comfortable, cosy haven set on the slopes of Chalice Hill with views across the Somerset Levels. You will receive a warm welcome, a good night’s sleep in one of our super-comfortable beds and a healthy vegetarian breakfast to set you up perfectly for the day. We are just ten minutes walk from Glastonbury High St, and an even shorter distance from the peaceful sanctuary of the Chalice Well Gardens and the Tor. We can provide you with information about Glastonbury and the local area, its history, legends and mysteries. We have a beautiful garden, conservatory and guest sitting room which are available for guests to relax in and therapies such as reiki and crystal healing may be booked during your stay. Wifi, free tea and coffee available all day and hairdryers are available in all four tastefully decorated rooms. All in all, an ideal place to base yourself for an authentic, inspiring Glastonbury experience! Please note that at present we don't have any disabled access to the house, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We have space for 2 cars only so please call to reserve a space on a first come first served basis and please note parking on site is solely at your own risk. However if parking is not available Drapers factory carpark is only 2 mins walk away of which we have agreed a special rate for our guests at £2 per 24hours. Please pay at the shop during opening hours or post your car registration along with your name and phone number through the red letter box and go and pay when the shop reopens and at weekends there will be parking attendants. Remember to mention you are staying with us to get this rate.. The entrance to St Annes is the blue gate opposite the Riflemans arms public house. Please call on 07747441547 if you need assistance with your luggage.

Directions

  • Road from Shepton Mallet (10.0 miles)
    Enter Glastonbury on the A361 road. You will pass Glastonbury Tor and then the Chalice Well Garden on your right. In about 100 yards you will pass a pub called the Rifleman's Arms. You will then come to a mini roundabout, take the third exit off the mini roundabout into a private drive with two brick gateposts either side of the entrance. As you enter the private drive take the right hand drive signposted St Anne's and head towards a pink garage and house - parking is in front of the house.
  • Road from Street (2.5 miles)
    Entering Glastonbury on the A39 pass Brewer's Fayre on left.. At Wirrall Park Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A361. Continue on the A361 at the next mini roundabout take the 2nd exit up the hill past the park on your left. Continue along Bere Lane. You will come to a mini roundabout, take the second exit into a private drive which is straight ahead of you. You will see two brick gateposts either side of the entrance to the drive. When you enter the drive immediately turn right.
  • Road from Wells (6.0 miles)
    Leave Wells on the A39. As you approach Glastonbury take the first exit off the roundabout and pass the entrance to Mendip Hospital on your left. Continue along Wells Road. Pass the High Street on your right proceed to Chilkwell Street. At the junction between Chilkwell Street and Bere Lane there is a mini roundabout. Take the first exit on your left into a private drive. You will see two brick gate posts either side of the entrance to the drive. Turn right immediately towards pink garage
  • Bus from High Street (0.0 miles)
    Get off the bus at the top of the High Street by the Washing Well Laundrette. At the top of the High Street turn right and walk along Lambrook Street and then Chilkwell Street until you get to the mini roundabout. Turn left into a private drive with two brick gate posts either side. You will see an apple orchard to your left. Take the right hand drive and head towards the pink garage and house. The house itself is opposite the Rifleman's Arms but it is set back from the road.
