Located upstairs in the converted barn this stylish suite of rooms can be accessed up a stair from the guest sitting room. The luxurious bedroom has a super king bed (which can be changed to twin beds on request) with sumptuous oak panelling, and a stylish parquet oak wood suite of furniture. The focal point of this room is the magnificent Amazone original painting by Ronaldo Enright. This room is accessed through a spectacular sitting room with a wall of windows giving great views over the farm and up to the moors beyond and a cosy living flame effect fire. The en-suite shower room is stunning with its marble flooring and walls, luxurious experience shower and twin wash hand basins on a floating oak shelf.

This sophisticated suite of rooms can be accessed from its own private garden up the original external steps to the Hayloft, or it can also be accessed via an internal staircase directly from the guest sitting room. The luxurious bedroom has sumptuous styling complementing a stunning mango wood suite of furniture, which includes a spectacular sleigh style super king size bed. Look out for the quirky window seat which offers great views across the farm and up to the moors beyond. This room leads through to a wonderful sitting room perfect for relaxing after a day exploring in the Peak District in front of the living flame effect fire. The en-suite bathroom is stunning with the natural limestone flooring and mosaics with steps up to the corner bath with shower over.

Description

This stunning eco-bed and breakfast combines the best of modern luxury with the charm of a rural stone farmhouse. The architect owner has created luxurious and individual guest rooms and suites, each with their own private gardens and entrances. We want our guests to feel at home at Bank View Farm. In addition to comfortable sitting areas within the rooms, there is a guest sitting room with leather sofas around a stone fireplace. The farm buildings are surrounded by 6 acres of wonderful gardens, orchards, woods and fields, which guests are free to explore. We are happy to introduce you to a range of animals we keep on our farm. Ideally located for a City Break and with stunning countryside walks from the farm, you will enjoy the perfect getaway.

Alex and Rachel welcome you to this truly special location. We provide a relaxed and friendly welcome to all our guests to ensure that you will love staying at Bank View Farm. We enjoy making the farm and its gardens beautiful. Over many years we have lovingly built this stunning eco-home which is powered by ground source heat pumps using the highest standards of construction and with the latest technology to provide high levels of comfort. We have also planted acres of woodland and miles of native hedgerow to encourage the local wildlife. We have planted orchards and created extensive gardens, including large vegetable and soft fruit gardens. You will be able to enjoy our delicious jams, honey, apple juice & fresh eggs from the farm and fruit & vegetables from the garden.

Accessibility

The Stables Room is at ground floor level. There are 2 low steps into the property. A ramp can be provided if required. Once inside the room it is all level with doors suitable for wheelchair access and use. There is a level access shower. The Hayloft Suite is at first floor level accessed via a modern oak stair. The farm has level access through to the breakfast room. If you do have any special needs please contact us as we are keen to accommodate your needs. Directions

Road from Sheffield City Centre (5.0 miles)

Follow signs to A621 Bakewell. As you follow this road out of Sheffield the last area you pass through is Totley 5 miles south of the City Centre. As you pass Totley you pass a large pub on the right called the Cross Scythes and then pass a road on the right called Hillfoot Road sign posted to Dore. Lane Head Road is the next road on your right just as you pass the last house before your enter open countryside. Turn right onto Lane Head Road, drop down the hill and Moss Road is first road on the left. The farm access is 50 yards up Moss Road on your right.
Train from Sheffield Station (6.0 miles)

We are six miles south of Sheffield Station. Taxis are available at the station.
Train from Dore & Totley Station (2.0 miles)

We are about 2 miles South of Dore & Totley Station
Bus from Sheffield Centre (5.0 miles)

The 97 & 218 buses comes past the end of the road. They run approximately every half hour during the day.
