Padley Farm Information

Description

Padley Farm is situated on the border of the Peak Park, which gives easy access and great scenery on the way to see the stately homes like Hadden Hall and Chatsworth house, The caves at Castleton, Gulliver’s Kingdom for the kids at Matlock, and Cannon Hall farm, Bakewell Market and heaps of walks of varying levels, or visit the Meadowhall centre for a shopping experience. Sheffield centre has the Cathedral, Crucible theatre and a Centertainment for films and 10 pin bowling, These are but a few of the choices for your minimum 2 night stay, to attract you to Sheffield and all less than an hours drive through gorgeous rolling hills and spectacular country routes. Returning after your fun filled day out to free and ample parking, then you have the comfort of your room with its kitchen and lounge area to chill out and make your own snacks or bring in your take-aways, or better still walk to the local pub for a hearty meal. As Padley farm is in a quiet village there are several pubs a short distance away full of character and friendly service. Pets are free of charge with the exception of damage or excessive cleaning. All kitchens include microwave/oven, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge and dishwasher. Lounge areas have reclining chairs, sofa beds in selected rooms and Smart TVs. All en-suite facilities include rain showers, towels and soaps. All apartments are a minimum of 2 night stays. Padley Farm has been in the family for generations and was converted into a B&B in 2004, and in 2021 we converted it again to self catering apartments. The conversion has given visitors more freedom and independence, and to enjoy bringing their pets to the countryside. Padley farm's position on the skirts of Sheffield and the Peak Park, Alan and Bradley have completed all the conversions and they are on call see to the upkeep of the buildings. Linda and Toni see to the general use of the rooms.
