Eagle House Information

Staying with us in this impressive and unique building, you will experience a comfortable visit in opulent surroundings, lovely views of the countryside and a quality service where everything is done to the highest standard. Approaching through the beautiful garden, upon arrival at Eagle House you will be greeted with a warm and friendly welcome in our grand Entrance Hall. All rooms have original Georgian features such as exposed beams and sash or leaded windows. They are decorated throughout to a high standard, creating a charming and restful environment. We offer a choice of 3 spacious and luxurious en-suite bedrooms. A hearty hot breakfast and a wide choice of tasty items from our cold breakfast buffet are included in our Bed and Breakfast rates. We also offer a room-only rate. Breakfast is served in our comfortable Library, which guests are welcome to use during their stay, or on the terrace in the beautiful garden. The library is an elegant and peaceful room to sit and read a book or magazine, relax after a busy day or play a board game with friends. The large garden offers a tranquil space with both shady and sunny areas to sit and admire the view. There are many sweet-smelling roses planted and a towering beech tree, loved by local wildlife. The views of the surrounding countryside from the Eagle's Nest, on the second story of Eagle House, are truly magnificent. Our one-bedroom self-catering apartment has a calm and cosy lounge, a modern fully functioning kitchen, and a luxurious en-suite shower room. With original wood beams and windows throughout, there are plentiful reminders that you are in a home of historic significance. The comfy king-sized bed ensures a relaxing stay and we can also provide a cot or a fold-out bed. We look forward to sharing this stunning residence with you and will be happy to do what we can to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.

Eagle House has a rich and varied history and we are proud to be it's current custodians. Information about the history of the house and the surrounding area can be found on our website.
