Description

Every morning you can breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the stunning views of the Stirlingshire countryside. Want to bring your family? No problem - the children can play safely outdoors whilst you relax and settle down for the evening with a nice glass of wine enjoying the magnificent sunsets towards Ben Lomond and Ben Ledi. We have two Safari Tents, affectionately known as Hazel and Jennifer, they are truly a home from home but without the distractions of your usual daily lives. Both tents allow you to live luxuriously and feature the following comforts: • Private shower room with wc and wash basin • Cosy log burning stove • Hot and cold water • Indoor cooking facilities • Private decked veranda • King size bedroom • Triple bunk bedroom • BBQ Being ‘off grid’ means our tents have no mains power supply so they are lit by storm lanterns, solar lights, candles and torches – creating a fantastic memorable experience for the children or truly romantic atmosphere for couples who want to unwind. Although the tents are off grid, we do have power points in our reception building a short distance away to charge mobile telephones and plug in the all important hair dryers and straighteners. Our aim is to provide an ‘away from technology’ experience for families, allowing the art of conversation to be reinvigorated! Both tents have board games provided and we encourage relaxation, reading and enjoying the great outdoors for both children and adults alike. Your escape to our Luxury Safari Tents will ensure a return to good old fashioned family values where the focus is on nature, the countryside and (most importantly) the real enjoyment of just being together. So whether you’re a family looking for a camping experience with a difference or a couple looking for a peaceful getaway our Safari Tents are waiting for you. Please note that we do not provide bedding or towels for your stay. Bedding can be pre booked at £15/person for the duration of your stay.

Road from M9/Jct 9 (2.5 miles)

Sat Nav to FK6 6RH will bring you right to Carr's Hill. There is a sign at the end of our farm road, please drive in and then park in the gravel car park on the right at the front of our Safari Tents
Road from M9/Jct 9 (2.5 miles)

From Edinburgh, follow the M9 towards Stirling, exit at Junction 9 Stirling/Services. At the roundabout take the 1st exit A872 Denny then take the 2nd junction on your left, signposted for Plean. Follow this road for approx 1.75 miles until you come across an unmarked crossroads. At the crossroads (immediately after the cream cottages) turn right and follow this road for 0.75 miles (passing 2 farms on your right hand side) and the entrance to Carr's Hill is on your left hand side at a dip in the road.

From the M74 (N) exit at Junction 4 and continue onto the M73. From the M73, follow the signs for Stirling (M80). Continue on the M80 to Junction 9 and take the exit to A91 Stirling. At the roundabout take the 6th exit A872 Denny then take the 2nd junction on your left, signposted for Plean. Follow this road for approx. 1.75 miles until you come to an unmarked crossroads. At the crossroads (immediately after the cream cottages) turn right and follow this road for 0.75 miles (passing 2 farms on your right hand side) and the entrance to Carr's Hill is on your left hand side at a dip in the road.

From Perth and the north, approach via the A9/M9 and exit at Junction 9 Stirling/Services. At the roundabout take the 4th exit A872 Denny then take the 2nd junction on your left, signposted for Plean. Follow this road for approx 1.75 miles until you come across an unmarked crossroads.
