There is an open plan living area on the ground floor, and a bedroom and spacious bathroom on the first floor. Recently refurbished using quality fixtures and fittings, yet retaining the aged character of the cottage, low ceiling and beams, fireplace with gas fire, and a sweet garden Cartref sits 1 minute away from a reasonably priced public car park. Step around the corner for a variety of Coffee shops, traditional butchers shop and fish and chip shop. Farnham has a wealth of culture, shops, eateries, a castle and a museum. There is much to see and do in the area, including Frensham Great Pond (with an actual beach!), Waverley Abbey with England's first Cistercian Abbey; the Hogs Back Brewery, Rural Life Centre; Birdworld and 1 minute walk from the Farnham Maltings, a cultural organisation with theatre and dance productions, pottery, art, textiles and photography. For further sightseeing, catch a train from Farnham or nearby Alton to London or the south coast. Farnham to London Waterloo 50 minutes. Scenic walks can be enjoyed in the South Downs National Park, the North Downs way leading to Guildford, Alice Holt Forest. Perhaps visit Jane Austen's house museum in Chawton and the Gilbert White museum at Selbourne. Chichester with its ornate cathedral, Festival Theatre, cinema and racecourse, and Portsmouth with it's historic dockyard, Spinnaker Tower, Royal Marines museum, Gunwharf Quays, waterside dining and shopping outlets, are approximately 50 minutes drive away. The Watercress Line steam railway at Alresford provides a delightful trip stopping off at various stations along the way.     Take the A31 (south of Guildford) and proceed to the Shepherd and Flock Roundabout taking the exit to Town Centre. Follow the road into Farnham. Follow the one way system which bears left. At the next traffic lights, turn right, passing a car park on your right. Go straight on, and with Loch Fyne on your left indicate left into Lower Church Lane. You will see a Gallery on your right which is at the entrance to Waggons Yard carpark. Almost opposite this is Cartref, 7 Lower Church Lane
