Description

Slades Farm is a recently refurbished 200 years old Farmhouse in the village of Edington near Westbury Wiltshire. A beautiful cosy farmhouse sitting centrally within a traditional English country garden at the bottom of an old' 'Slade' The gardens provides the perfect setting to sit and relax, the Garden Hut overlooking the pond is a peaceful place to start and end the day. Famous for its local Priory, Edington has a fantastic Inn with local brewed ale and Farm Shop only 5 minutes walk away, www.thethreedaggers.co.uk All three rooms are En Suite with their own charm and subtle style with a country feel laced with luxurious simple touches to make you feel 'at home' Comfy King sized beds beds,Egyptian cotton bedding and warm fluffy towels will make your stay truly relaxing. The modern bathrooms are all beautifully appointed with complimentary toiletries. Equipped with flat screen TV ,Wifi and hairdryer Free parking is available on site The Glamping Pods are truly glamorous with heating, kitchen en suite shower room and TV/Wifi The farmhouse sits centrally among some of the most visited tourist attractions in the South West. Longleat House and Grounds with Safari Drive Thru Bath the beautiful Spa Georgian city is just 15 miles away Salisbury with the tallest Cathedral spire in England is 20 miles drive. Stonehenge and Avebury The world renowned English Heritage sites are local to us. Bowood National Trust Garden, Lacock and The Wiltshire Canal are all close by and offer a great day out Breakfast is from locally sourced foods cooked in the farm house kitchen and often grown by ourselves! we can provide picnic lunches and evening meals throughout your stay We offer the chance to combine the best of town and country in a relaxing homely atmosphere. The farm sits on the edge of Salisbury Plain offering fabulous walks right from the door step, cyclists too . Both muddy boots and bikes are welcome.

Our rooms reflect the character of the old house combined with thoughtful touches and design. The atmosphere in the house is restful and relaxing which is how we want you to remember your visit. The grounds that surround the farmhouse are filled with colour throughout the year, Guests can enjoy the garden, sitting by the freshwater pond as the sun sets! Our home is open for you to enjoy, breakfast is a feast of local foods cooked freshly for each guest. Choose 'Glamping' to spend time really connecting with the countryside. Martin has hand built each unit to make every one give a different experience.   • Road from B3098 (0.5 miles)
    Travelling on the B3098 Westbury road Approaching from Westbury: Take 4th turning on the left into the village towards the village green. (Approaching from Devizes take 1st turning on your right) Take the right fork as you approach the village green and follow the road down through the village for approx 0.25 miles. The road narrows to a quiet lane with a right hand fork, take this route and Slades farm house is 50 yards after the fork on your right.
  • Train from Westbury Station (4.0 miles)
    Leave Westbury via the B3098 towards Devizes. On entering Edington take the 4th turning on the left. Follow road down to village green and take right fork. Follow road for 0.25 mile where there is right hand fork into lane. Slades Farm house is 50 metres down lane on your right
