This little hideaway is just what the doctor ordered, quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. The house is bright and cheerful, with beach decor. There is a large kitchen, living room, and sun room. A brand new deck overlooks the water with views of beautiful sunsets. Dock your boat on the private dock, fish the canal, or sit on the large deck overlooking the water and relax. Swing in the hammock under the Cypress trees, have a beer under the private gazebo and watch the Blue Heron, Egrets and other birds fish for their supper. Fish-On hideaway is just minutes to a public boat launch. A 15 min boat ride along the canals will lead you to open water for fishing, jet skiing, or tubbing. Old Town Bay St. Louis is just 10 minutes away for waterfront dining, shopping and entertainment with over 60 shops, restaurants, cafe's, art galleries, bars, and antique stores. This adorable cottage is located on the grounds of Carroll House Bed & Breakfast but is completely seperate and private. The cottage is beautifully decorated with Beach decor and original art work. Carroll House Cottage is fully equipped, luxury linens, full kitchen, washer/dryer, Private porch, Satellite TV, and Free wireless internet connection. The cottage can sleep 4 with a Queen bed in the Bedroom and a Futon bed in the living room. Bicycles are available for all guests to explore our quaint historic Old Town Bay St. Louis. Bike or walk just 2 blocks to the beach, or town for excellent restaurants, antique stores, art galleries, and coffee shops. Our cottages are located on the grounds of 'The Carroll House' which was built c.1890 and is listed on the National Registry of Historic places. Each cottage is completely separate and private. Jane has lived and worked in this community for over 22 years. She purchased The Carroll House in 2006, after hurricane Katrina almost destroyed it. She renovated the house and ran it as a Bed & Breakfast for over 8 years. She and her husband, Kevin, now live in the house. Salty Soul Cottage, just next door to The Carroll House, was their home while they ran the Bed & Breakfast. Jane also owns 2 boutiques in Old Town, Bay-Tique, a women's clothing and gift boutique, and Salty Soul, sportswear for Men & Women. Jane & Kevin are very involved in their community and share a passion for this sweet little town. A phrase they hear often from their guests is "this place just draws you in".
