Bella Vista Cottage Information

Description

Bella Vista Cottage, in historic Fredericksburg, is a bed and breakfast set on 55 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country. The Cottage was designed and built by the owners . The 2,000 square foot cottage is meant to be a weekend getaway home to relax and unwind from the hectic stress of city life. The exterior design of Bella Vista contains architectural elements of the local German farmhouses found throughout the Texas Hill Country, Victorian-style cottages and American Prairie architecture melded into a unique, inviting, and modern approach. Native Texas landscaping encompasses the house along with a Buffalo turf grass lawn and hundreds of Live Oak trees adorn the property enhancing the feeling of truly being immersed in the Hill Country. The front and rear covered porches offer a relaxing place to watch the sunrise or sunset, the various forms of wildlife that abound or just a pleasant place to unwind really giving you the special atmosphere you can get only be staying at a bed and breakfast. The cottage was built with the environment in mind with many green features and the property is a registered natural wildlife management area. We believe that a critical part of being an exemplary bed and breakfast in Fredericksburg is to provide you with a Master Bedroom Suite characterized by its unique feeling of the Texas Hill Country. Your Texas-sized King bed has a handmade mattress. The room’s décor includes its 9' bead-board ceiling and hand-scraped Pecan wood floors. To ensure your coziness a 50? Other amenities include your walk-in closet furnished with luxurious bathrobes, iPod charger/alarm clock, iron and ironing board, and custom handmade bath salts for your soaking enjoyment.

The surrounding Texas Hill Country is home to many wine and food festivals. We know that you may be inspired to share a bottle of the wine you discover during your stay with a special compliment you love to whip up. Your gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and distinguishes itself with custom pendant lamps over the polished stone top bar, full-sized stainless steel appliances including a double oven, hand-made glass tile backsplash, under cabinet lighting, stone countertops, Italian hand-painted stoneware dishes and serving bowls with matching napkins, chef-quality pots, pans, and cutlery.
