Family Farmhouse Inn Information

Description

The outdoor space is vast, set on 7 acres of land without a neighbor in sight. We are surrounded by gorgeous natural landscaping, including hundreds of trees, flowers, manicured pathways, a pavilion, propane fire pit, swing set, hammock, hand-crafted swings, and a large recreation area in the backyard. In addition to natural beauty, our family prioritizes fun, so so we have provided a range of outdoor activities for you to enjoy: a giant-sized checkerboard, croquet, tetherball, giant Connect Four, cornhole, ladder golf, badminton, and plenty of seating to accommodate up to 25 people. We have also recently added a stage area, complete with curtains, for those children (or adults) who like to put on shows. Charades or karaoke, anyone? :) Our location affords close proximity to some of Shenandoah Valley’s best attractions such as hiking, biking, kayaking, caverns, wineries, breweries, historic sites, antique shopping, quaint towns and rolling hills that are ubiquitous to the Valley.

Our family are the new owners of the Widow Kip's Inn, which is now called the Family Farmhouse Inn. The former farmhouse, "hen house," and "wash house" were renovated into an inn in the 1970's. Our family made the big move from South Florida to Virginia in October of 2020 and are enjoying every moment of living in the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley! We can't wait to welcome you!
