We are the 3rd generation of the family to live and work at Marshwood Farm. Come and stay with us in our Bed & Breakfast or Shepherds Hut and we will share with you our knowledge of the area and our passion for farming and conservation.
Grandfather came here in the early 1940’s, as a tenant farmer. Subsequently, he purchased Marshwood at auction. Historically, as part of the tenancy, he had to have a dairy but he also kept a large flock of chickens. Now we are mainly arable with a flock of sheep, covering approximately 500 acres.
Marshwood is a Grade II listed house dating from the 17th century and whilst we aim to meet the needs of all our guests, there are some features which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility.
