1 Twizell Lane Information

Description

1 Twizell Lane is at the edge of West Pelton village near to Beamish Museum being at the end of the street it offers uninterrupted views to the the front of the Durham countryside and stretching to Lumley Castle and Durham Riverside. To the rear of the property there are views over fields and the local private allotments (guests do not have access to these). The Property itself is modern and bright and has been very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The lounge is large and has a modern wood burning stove we will an initial supply of wood for, you can relax in front of the fire looking at the incredible views or watching the Smart TV. There is a stylish light dinning room with seating for six and the modern kitchen which has an oven and microwave if you prefer to eat in during your stay. There is also a conservatory attached to the kitchen where you can also relax and enjoy the views. Upstairs there are two hotel quality bedrooms one with a king size double and and one with two single beds. Seats at the windows allow you to sit and enjoy the fantastic view to the front. The rooms can accommodate a family up to 5 please ask for details. We also provide bike storage and are conveniently located for the coast to coast route. The property is ideally located for sight seeing in Durham, cricket at the Riverside, Beamish Museum, Roseberry Golf Course,Tanfield Railway and shopping in Newcastle, Durham or the Gateshead Metro Centre

The Property is a modern bright end of terrace with fantastic views to the the front and back, the holiday let is owned by a local family who can offer advice on local amenities and events. The property has a high standard of cleanliness and has a fresh and airy feel. There is a corner shop at the end of the street which is open from 7.00 am to 8.30 pm if you have forgotten anything for your stay. We provide tea and coffee so you can have a much needed cuppa when you arrive. We pride ourselves in making sure you enjoy your stay, Durham and the North East is fantastic place to visit and once you have stayed in our property you will be keen to come back again and again!

Directions

  • Road from The South. from junction 63 on the A1(M) (3.0 miles)
    If you are travelling North join the A1(M). Take junction 63 for Chester-Le-Street and follow the signs for Beamish Museum, this will lead you onto the A693 to Stanley. You go over a series of roundabouts going passed Pelton, just after High HandenHold take the next left turn for West Pelton. Drive up to the cross roads, a convenience store is on your left. Drive over, this is the start of Twizell Lane. Continue up the lane, No1 Twizell Lane is the last house on your right. 
  • Road from The North Junction 63 on A1(M) (3.0 miles)
