Hare And Hounds Information

Description

Formerly a pub, the Hare & Hounds is set in idyllic countryside situated just outside historic Rye (2 miles) and it makes the perfect base for exploring 1066 country, & Camber Sands and the surrounding areas. Our beautiful Bed and Breakfast accommodation and Shepherds Hut (Self Catered) is open all year round. You will receive a warm and friendly welcome from the owners Harriet & Ben who can give you lots of local information on places to visit, restaurants, walks and local attractions. There is an excellent pub within a 10 minutes walk, and Rye itself has many great restaurants and cafes. There is ample parking available and Rye is only 5 minutes away by taxi. There is also a bus stop outside the property and a wonderful walk over the fields into Rye (45 minute walk). For B & B guests a full English breakfast and Continental breakfast is served in the 17th Century Dining room and we can cater for dietary requirements if we are informed in advance. We have 2 Dog friendly rooms, one has direct access onto the garden. Our B and B can accommodate children up to the age of 12, an extra bed can be put in the room. We have a travel cot and high chair available for Infants. Our 2 rooms Oak and Willow have an inter connecting door providing perfect accommodation for a family (a Double and Twin). We have a lovely Self Contained Shepherds Hut situated in our Camping Field which is also dog friendly We can also offer somewhere to store bike if you are traveling on 2 wheels.
