Hanger Down House Bed and Breakfast Information

Description

At Hanger Down Bed and Breakfast we make sure every visitor to the guesthouse has a peaceful and relaxing time. Making your stay easy and comfortable we have made sure everything you need is in your room. There is a two seater leather sofa, which can adapt to a double sofa bed for accompanying children, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge with icebox. The guesthouse, of course, has wi-fi available throughout. The luxury en-suite facilities for all three guest rooms have powerful pump showers, electric shaver points, large Victorian-style sinks, toilets and heated towel rails with quality bath towels. A cot is available on request, for infants under two, at no extra charge in all rooms. The bed and breakfast area is in an adjoining wing of the main house and has a separate, private entrance for guests so you are free to come and go as you please. We also have a large parking area on our private drive, enough for five cars. The breakfast room has three separate dining tables with comfortable leather chairs and lounge area with a coffee table and chess board, where you are welcome to relax and enjoy throughout your stay. With access to our acre of lawned garden you can sit back and enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine on the patio with outside seating or use our variety of our outdoor facilities such as table tennis table, climbing frame with swing and slide set, trampoline and full size football goal. Characterful shops, tea rooms, bars and restaurants can be found through a scenic 15 minutes walk into Arundel Centre or 3 minute drive.

Set within an acre of mature grounds the renovated guesthouse is situated in the gardens of a former Augustinian Priory with part of the original building dating back to 1760, giving a traditional English feel while being modern and welcoming. A relaxing tranquil location, ideal for those that love the peace and beauty of the countryside but are near enough to walk into Arundel Town and enjoy the historical castle, cathedral and architecture. The nearest beach is only three miles away. There is a footpath next to the River Arun which can be accessed a short walk from the bottom of our lane, all the way to Littlehampton Marina.
