Stay at Penny's Mill Información

Descripción

Luxury Bed & Breakfast in Nunney, Somerset. Our lovely 200-year old watermill, set in the charming Somerset village of Nunney, is the ideal centre for a West Country break – close to Bath, Frome, Longleat, Stourhead Gardens and Babington House. “Stay at Penny’s Mill” offers you our hospitality, the freedom of our beautiful house – and the chance to enjoy Rosie’s cooking! Most of all, we will do our level best to give you a relaxed, informal, comfortable stay in our people-friendly Bed & Breakfast – one of Somerset’s most special places to stay. Polly’s Room is a cool and elegant double room, with both bath and digital power shower. The Family Suite for up to four guests includes the Green Room and the Blue Room – the former with a luxurious 6-foot double, the latter a twin - and a spacious and well-equipped sitting-room. A shared shower room completes the Suite, which also boasts flat screen TVs, plenty of games and toys plus stair gate, travel cot, bed guard and Korbell nappy unit. Breakfast is taken in the Conservatory, which open onto the Terrace alongside Nunney Brook. Across the bridge, our "Wilderness" and the bank which changes spectacularly with the seasons. Through the gate, Rosie's vegetable garden entices you. Nunney is a charming village, with colourful terraced houses, its own shop, pub and market place, and even a ruined 14th century castle. Nunney is splendidly placed for a holiday or weekend touring the West Country. Nearby Frome offers enticing independent shops (great for Vintage clothing) and more listed buildings than any other town in Somerset. As well as the annual Frome Festival there are weekly and monthly markets, including the Frome Independent which fills the town centre with stalls. Further afield, Bath and Wells are half an hour's drive, Longleat and Stourhead about twenty minutes. We are under ten minutes from Babington House, ideal for wedding guests! We do hope to welcome you here very soon - Rosie and Bill
