Carnalbanagh House Information

Description

We offer a quiet coastal retreat with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside including the Donegal Hills, Mussenden Temple and the River Bann Valley. The fields surrounding the house are grazed by our family's own herd of cattle and sheep which often make for excellent photo opportunities. We also have our very own highland cows, Bonnie and Heidi! At Carnalbanagh you can enjoy the peace and serenity of the glorious Northern Irish countryside whilst only being a 5-minute drive from the beautiful Portstewart Strand Beach. We offer a private car park for our guests and a large garden with lots of little seating areas, perfect for relaxing and watching one of our famous North-Coast sunsets! The Causeway Coast has something for everyone, whether you're looking for a relaxing coastal getaway, fun-filled family break or a wild adventure exploring the rugged Northern Irish landscape. Some of our favourites include the beautiful blue-flag beaches, historic sites such as Dunluce Castle and the Mussenden Temple, the natural splendour of the Dark Hedges as seen in Game of Thrones and the breath-taking views from Binevenagh Mountain! For the foodies - the North-Coast is bursting with cafes, eateries, restaurants, ice-cream parlours, pubs and bars including the incredibly successful Ramore Restaurants in Portrush and Morelli's Ice-Cream Parlour in Portstewart!

"Shaun & I are from traditional farming backgrounds so we both have a shared love and appreciation for the countryside, animals and nature. As a little girl, I grew up watching my mum bake in our farm kitchen everyday to share with family and visiting friends. It was this natural joy that she found in hosting that I believe I've inherited and twenty-five years later I can still happily say I love my job! Shaun & I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to share the home that we’ve built together with guests from all over the world." Irene Moore
