Description

The Mount Pleasant is a family run hotel, restaurant and conference venue that provides a relaxed, friendly country house atmosphere with excellent dining facilities. The hotel provides high standards of facilities and service, tailored by its staff for its guests. We also have available three function rooms to accommodate private dining, business meetings, weddings and events. The hotel occupies a beautiful Georgian building right in the centre of the famous spa town of Great Malvern. The Mount Pleasant's idealistic position overlooks the historic Malvern Priory Church and has direct access to the Malvern Hills. We are located right next door to the gateway to the Malvern Hills providing great access to many famous walking routes and local attractions. Many of our public rooms and bedrooms overlook a stunning view of the Malvern Priory and eastwards over the Vale of Evesham towards the Cotswolds. Our 18 individually decorated ensuite bedrooms accommodate 39 guests. Family rooms sleeping 2 adults and 1 child are available as well as double and twin rooms. Each room has its own individualistic character reflected in its modern décor The Mount Pleasant Hotel offers a bar and fine dining restaurant, plus three conference rooms available for private hire, for meetings, business events and functions.

Directions

  • Road from M62 (116.0 miles)
    Head East on M62, J11, Take A574 exit R'bout & take 5th exit onto M62 ramp to M6, Liverpool/Preston/Chester. Merge onto M62 J 10, exit towards M56/ Birmingham/Chester. Merge onto M6, slight left at M5, J7, take A44 exit to Worcester. At the roundabout take 3rd exit onto A44, Evesham/Worcester, 1st exit onto A4440/Croolbarrow Way, 1st exit roundabout onto A449/Malvern Road.
  • Road from M5 Junction 7 from the North (10.0 miles)
    From the North use M5 J7, follow brown signs for Malvern. Once in Great Malvern continue on A449 towards Ledbury, pass through most of the town and we are on the right
  • Road from M5 Junction 8 from the South (10.0 miles)
    From the South use M5 J8, follow M50 until first junction and exit. Then follow Malvern brown signs north on A38. Take A4104 through Upton upon Severn, B4211. At Hanley Castle take the B4209 signposted Malvern Wells. Once you reach the top of the road turn right on A449. Follow road into Great Malvern and we are the first building on your left.
