The Big Burns Supper is the world’s largest Burns Night, celebrating poet Robert Burns in the town where spent the he spent last years of his life and died in 1796. In fact, it’s much more than one night, across 10 days, concerts and performances give a contemporary twist to the traditional celebration of Scotland’s national poet.

Running at the end of January in the vibrant capital of South Scotland, Dumfries, the festival takes place in venues, bars, art galleries, museums and includes an 800 capacity Spiegeltent which includes a heady roster of international names taking place.

The line-up includes shows and events for all the family, as well as light installations and music presented in the pubs and taverns.
