In August, Preston Park is once again set to become a Thai paradise for the Brighton Thai Festival.
This fantastic event celebrates all things Thai, and is a great day out for all the family. Where else could you taste authentic Thai food, watch traditional Thai dancers and be blessed by a buddhist monk, all without leaving the UK?
This festival has a great atmosphere, and there are plenty of fantastic events to keep the family entertained. The popular ‘I’m British Get Me Out of Here’ eating competition is sure to be a hit, for the audience at least, and there will also be Ladyboy shows, and a traditional Thai costume parade.
The Muay Thai boxing and Blindfold Boxing competitions may well inspire some sportspeople of the future, and if you’d prefer a quieter activity, there’ll be the chance for a relaxing Thai massage. There’s so much more to see and do, including traditional Thai music shows, live cookery demos, Thai carving and produce on sale, Thai fortune tellers, a beer garden, and a family fun fair. Bring the whole tribe along for an excellent weekend of entertainment and discovery.
