National B&B Week runs from Monday 18th to Sunday 24th March and it’s a very important event in the UK tourism calendar. Last year saw the inaugural B&B Day launch and this year things are ramping up with a full week of activities and events. It’s a nationwide celebration of Britain’s B&Bs, guest houses and small independent hotels and their incredible achievements and contribution to British tourism. It’s being backed by a host of major travel and tourism organisations with the aim of getting as many people as possible to book and stay at a B&B during the week.
B&B owners are getting creative to offer guests something special for National B&B Week. It could be a discount, an upgrade or something more unusual like unlimited free ice-cream, free tickets to a local show, a free afternoon tea, a tasting of local produce or a free beauty treatment. It could be anything, as long as it’s something they wouldn’t normally offer.
Book your stay at participating B&Bs on toprooms and ask your host what they are doing for National B&B Week. Or browse the offers on the official B&B Week website for inspiration for your next short break or holiday.
