Since 2006, 60’s fans have been heading to Whitby every June for a weekend of their favourite music at the Whitby 60s Festival. Whitby Pavilion plays host to the festival, welcoming some of the biggest names of the 60’s – the venue offers fantastic sea views, a large concert hall and bars, food, and drinks throughout the weekend.
Bands will play from 6.30pm till 1am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, and from 12 noon till 3pm Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Fans of the 60’s can look forward to performances from 60s tribute acts such as The Foundations, The Fourmost, and The Tornados who played previous years. On Sunday afternoon, there’a a 50’s & 60’s tribute show which has featured The Everlys, Roy Orbison & more.
Tickets for the full weekend are £85, afternoon tickets £12 and evening only tickets are £28.
